James Franco and Anne Hathaway cross dress while hosting the 2011 Oscars held at the Kodak Theater on Sunday (February 27) in Los Angeles.
Before James came out in a dress and wig, Anne was left to perform a musical number alone after she blamed Hugh Jackman for bailing on her!
Sigh, remember when the Academy Awards were interesting and fun? Yeah, I'm that old.
Anne Hathaway (and her wardrobe - damn she wears clothes well) was awesome, Franco sucked as much as anyone has ever sucked at all the suckiest MC jobs at all the awards shows in history - and that's a huge pile of suck. Watching him I was ready to reprise his 127 Hours ordeal and chew my arm off to get away.
BTW - all four of the songs sucked too. Really, is having a good song in a movie passé now? Where was The Theme from Shaft? Or The Windmills of Your Mind, or Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head, or Under the Sea, Take My Breath Away Hell, where were any good performers to do the songs?
Yeah I have to say James Franco seemed very "out of it" or something. Anne did great though!
