They are one of the first, or only one, to openly announce to the public in having a formal policy. Many leagues have already done so, not just some. :)

WFTDA has a gender policy in the works, but in the meantime there is no present policy that disallows trans skaters in WFTDA charter teams and sanctioned bouts/tournaments.
