Let me start off by telling you my chosen name.
It's Ricci (pronounced Richie).
I came upon this wonderful forum just today as I was looking for online support groups for Trans people.
I want to tell you a little something about myself.
I am a biological female who desires to live my life as a man.
I've felt uncomfortable in my gender since childhood, but have only ever told one person about it.
She is one of my best friends, and she has supported my decision to look into transitioning.
But I have never told my family.
I'm terrified of having that talk.
I don't want to lose the love of my family members or to disappoint them so badly.
I know I am not alone, but as anyone who is terrified of coming out knows, I still fell alone.
I need to truly know that there are people I can talk to who have been where I am.
