Title: A very wierd experience
Post by: MRH on March 16, 2011, 03:00:14 PM
Ive been passing a lot more now but my main fear, other than people hearing my voice and realising I'm female, is toliet situations. I try avoiding toilets just incase someone I meet thinks im going into the wrong toilet. Im still using female toilets as im not completely out and some people read me as female. Today I was really pissed off at college and I sorta stormed into the toilets where two girls were near the sinks. I didnt really look at them but I could see that they quickly stopped what they were doing and sorta gasped a bit as if they were in shock. When in the cubicle I tried to listen to what they were saying. I could hear them whispering and giggling and im sure one of them said "he could be watching us." When I left the cubicle I went over to the sink to wash my hands. They went totally silent and didn't move. I then got out of there as quick as I could. At the time I was in a ->-bleeped-<- mood and pissed off that they were laughing at me but now im quite pleased that, for the first time, someone thought I was using the wrong toilets :P

Same here, I have some very angry dudes looking at me like WTF are U doing here!
Yet I do not have the courage to go to the women bathroom. Like you, the only thing that gives me away is my freaking deep voice.

I am so looking forward to voice surgery

I had the same exact thing happen, since I use the girls bathroom at school, but they didn't even try to hide they were talking about me. It pissed me off more than made me happy, because I can't believe people can be that rude. You would think that they would at least wait until you're out of earshot...

MRH, are you by any chance Swedish? I saw a guy who was a deadringer for you a couple days ago. I thought that I'd seen that face before, but I couldn't place just why that guy seemed oddly familiar until I saw your avatar.

What were you doing in girls toilet dude? ::)
Yeah you will go through an Andro phase where it seems you can't make any correct decision but you should be considering using the guys now.

Unless you want to be able to tell the story of getting in trouble for going into the girls.

Me, I can imagine in the in-between phase there's less to fear from being "thought wrong" in the women's than the men's toilets. I'm scared being in the men's toilets sometimes, and I'm still a guy! But I guess you have to make the change sometime (or look for unisex toilets until you feel more like you pass).

I'm thinking about it and I may start to but with college too many people know me and even people who don't will of seen me using the girls toilets so to suddenly use the males would be a bit awkward
