I don't see much wrong with it, but if your partner has a problem with it, you should really talk to him about it first.

I definitely will talk to him about it before signing up.
I just wanted ya'lls opinions :)
It's a chance to have a little fun and maybe some fame and fortune.
If I knew I had a speck of musical talent I would go for it!
You should do it, it would make you really happy. You should also discuss it with your partner.
I think you should follow your dream... What is your You tube channel?
I seen my share of TG-friendly gay bars in several big towns. I ventured there dress according to my external organs just to "case" the places, to see if I can come to drink and dance wearing clothing appropriate to my gender.
What I found was a bunch of dirty and smelling places full of "seeding" looking people. My alarms went off, and I never venture to those laces in any mode. Yuk!
I think we could guide you better if you could provided us with information regarding what you would like to do (sing, dance, comedy, play music, etc).
In my neck of the wood there are several piano-bars, where for a nominal fee, you can sign and play the piano or partner with a piano-playing partner; of course the success would depend of the quality of your act and your presentation.
If you are serious about a career, I would suggest you to stay aawy from the gay bars least you be type-caste as a drag performer
Best,
Kate
Tell your partner to remember you`re going home with him ,and those other guys will be so jealous.
Don't leave this world with regrets. Do it.
Explain to your partner how important it is to you and get him to come and go home with you.
10 years from now will you look back on this opportunity and say "what if?"
If the answer is yes then you HAVE to do something about it now.
I'm 37 and have already lived a life far fuller life than most my age because I did what they dared not to. Now that I have addressed and accepted my biggest weakness - My TG, and started transition I expect the next 40 years to be even better. I have a "bucket list" full of adventures waiting. So hell yes, go for you dream.
Best Wishes,
-M
Jenjen,
Just like transition, Follow your dream. If it get you were you want to be then just go for it.
And maybe you can prove this right ...
