Hey just got my chest surgery referal today with a consult set up. See here we get our surgeries paid for by the government, and there are about 4 surgerons in the province that will take this on.
These guys all have 8+ month waiting lists once you actually get in to the see them. Anyhow they refered me to Martin Guiffre today, as they knew he was taking on a few new cosults recently.. (talk about booked, my only two options for appointments were may 13 or june 24th). Grabbed the consult on may 13.. and now I can't find any reviews on his masculination/DI surgeries. None at all. Rate my MD has his general performance rated.. which is low (though if you take away the bedside manner - results are actually pretty good on his rhinoplasties and breast augmentations and tummy tucks and whatnot).. Few people complain of dog earing on breast reductions (big uh oh on my part).. anyhow.. I can't find any reviews from trans patients or even guys who had breast reductions.. anyone familiar with his work?
Is there anyone in Alberta who you would reccomend instead?
I'm not going to be a candidate for peri - my moobs are much too saggy though likely small enough for the procedure.. so DI it is.
I have the same concerns about how things will look when the surgery is done....she keeps saying ... no matter who does it ... I will be critical of it b/c I have wanted a flat chest for so long ... but the rest of the world won't notice that it's not perfect so not to stress.
I do want to avoid dog earing and such - which I has heard Guiiffre or whatever the fack it is sometimes does on breast reductions.
Anyone know anything on Lomar, Moysa, Edwards or Wolflie? All alberta based surgeons as well
