Im soooooo excited!!! After months and months of therapy, im finallyyy, finallllly...getting my treatment! Im super extatic. Im young..(under 19) and i realllly came a long way! And for that...im a SAW. Strong ass woman:)

Yes, things work much more effectively when you start younger. Watch what you eat, estrogen tells your body to store fat in several places, some of them great (boobs, butt) and some of them not so great (tummy). Don't forget to exercise, too. :)
Im ready girls! I waited for a longggg timeeee! And i actually did everything myself..the insurance...job..ect. I feel so proud of myself. Ive had a tough time getting here..but i made it :). Lets just pray i drive to atlanta safely! Oh goodness..how did it feel to first take ur first pill or shot?

I didn't start until after I was 50, and I really wish I could have done it about 30 years sooner.

You really need to actively choose your source of happiness, every single day. In my case, one day every week it's my regular electrolysis visit (my electrologist is an absolute sweetheart of a lady), every other week it's my therapist's session. All the other days, it's twice, when I put estradiol tablets beneath my tongue in the morning and evening.
Some of the more significant events that should thrill you when they happen:
a) noticing your urine no longer smells so strong in the morning
b) noticing your sweat no longer smells so strong at all, anymore
c) when little hard lumps form behind your nipples
d) when those lumps form into tiny mounds
e) when you no longer wake up with morning erections
There's a few more, I just can't think of them, right now. ;D

Gawd, if I could only go back my teens and slap myself and say "Oh no you don't! You keep taking those pills!!", I'd do it in a heartbeat...

Got therapist: first meeting April 12th 2pm :D
Saving money for laser: going to have a first session very soon as it rids so much first sweep :D then save for a course.

Sophie, don't be too concerned about youth versus age. I didn't start HRT until after age 50 and I've developed a lovely B cup bosom in two and a half years. I haven't been blessed with any other curves, but who knows what may appear after I lose more weight? I'm hoping the HRT keeps the fat where we girls prefer it. ;)
I'm starting HRT this month too. I get my prescription on the 9th. I've been waiting for so long that I can't believe it's finally happening. :)
