So, for those of you following my transition ... it has been in hold as my wife adjusts to me transitioning. Well, the therapist challenged us at our last appointment to verbalize I am transgender to the kids (okay they are 22 & 20 but still kids to me). My wife thought for sure that one of them - the non trans kid- would struggle using male pronouns and making the change. Well, both kids took it in pride - they both said they had no problems with it. Both said they would use male pronouns and that if they made a mistake to please correct them.
It feels excellent to be open in my own home now. It's no longer a big secret and I can start referring to myself in male pronouns.
Things are moving along finally for me...I am on cloud 9!!!
Just wait Rob, of one of them to call you Dad. But at least they are willing to give it their best shot.

One of them did...first said mom ...ooops I mean dad...sorry I just found out so cut me some slack ... it felt great
Why did I just know, when you replied so quick, that it had already happened.
Way to go there, Dad. ;)
