Have you noticed any changes with the hair on your head since starting hrt, and if so what?

Hi

i noticed it got softer and the actual hair seemed thinner, but also some regrowth which is most appreciated :-)

It's thinner and softer for a start and I also have significant regrowth occurring. Strangely it's also redder than it was pre transition.

Ooh - less dandruff? Score! I'd love to be able to stop using my tar-smelling gunk that's the only shampoo that keeps my scalp from migrating south in flocks. Another reason to be impatient for HRT...

Is that what's happening? It is becoming softer, I guess. But I may just be reaching.

We'll see how it goes from here, my natural hair is an auburn tangle.

More of it, fuller, curlier, and much lighter in color. Softer? Maybe. Definitely less oily and easier to manage.  :)

:D

It will be a thick mess, but since I like to make things pretty, I'll probably have waaay too much fun playing with it.

Since I've let it grow, I notice it falling out more, which freaks me out, but a certain amount (40 to 100 hairs a day) is just natural.

How long have you been trying to control your dandruf with tar shampoo?

Not HRT but this morning I was so excited I licked my hand after swallowing the Finasteride tablet, is that normal?:P

I'm still don;t know if it's coming back, another reason to get a camera though.

How long have you been trying to control your dandruf with tar shampoo?

I've been using this T-Gel stuff for years, because every other shampoo I've used (including all the fancy anti-dandruff ones, the pure non-chemical ones, you name it) make my scalp really itchy. I'm kind of stuck with it. People have been saying to me for years "but you must try new improved Blampo, it's amazing" and Blampo always turns out to be an itch inducer :(.
