Title: IE9, upgrade or wait?
Post by: CaseyMorgan on April 06, 2011, 04:38:40 AM
The last time I was here this site had some pretty computer savvy people, so I thought I'd throw this out. Internet Explorer 9 just came out a few weeks ago. Normally I don't upgrade ANY software until I've heard they've gotten the bugs mostly ironed out. This goes for any software from any company. So I was wondering if anybody's heard anything about IE9. Are there any major bugs that need fixing in a future patch before I upgrade, or is it good to go right now?

And yes, I've tried other browsers and I still prefer IE so I have no plans to switch, no matter how bad you think IE "sux".

there are some things that need to be worked on (the do not track list) but overall it's a must have for vista and 7 users (especially when it comes to future tech and security).

I say upgrade. I did, though I don't regularly use IE.
