hmm this definitely reminds me of that saying, everyone wants what they cant have haha. Its like when people who have straight hair want curly hair or vice versa. Honestly i used to feel that way i wanted to be smaller, i wanted to be thin and petite, etc. Ever since i was younger i had trouble finding pants that fit me after a while i discovered that im plus sized from the bottom, I hated having big thighs, hips, etc. But after a while i got used to it and just accepted that fact that its just how my body is. Im not fat but since im plus sized on the bottom some people would consider that fatness especially since a lot of girls wanna be stick thin or something, having big thighs, hips, etc to alot of people is considered overweight but they dont realize that people just have different bodies not everyone is the same. What im trying to say here is maybe thats just how your body is, as far as i know hrt is kind of a random thing everyone reacts different, maybe u will get more fat deposits in the right places later on but maybe you wont and even if you did it would be ok :) you dont need to go so far just to get hips. Im sure you are pretty and look fine just the way you are ;D

Did you ever look into the Brazilian Butt lift?  There are implants and also fat redistribution procedures that can be done

I've looked into this in the past.

As far as I know, the only safe method is to pad up.

Implants, of almost any description, tend to fail and produce horrendous results. The reason is the amount of pushishment our bottoms tend to get. Next, apparently, to the feet.

Experiment with pads. But also, try to look around at other girls. It's too easy to only notice those with really nice bottoms. The reality is, most girls have pretty unremarkable bottoms.

I think the main thing to be care of is not trying to get too much reverse protrousion while forgetting that sideways is equally important.

You should also be aware of a few things regarding the Brazilian Butt Lift:
a) It can be expensive, approaching the cost of SRS/GCS.
b) It's not guaranteed.  If the transplanted fat does not connect to a new blood supply, it will be absorbed elsewhere.
c) If you're already very lean, you may not have sufficient abdominal fat to extract and transplant.
d) If there's already very, very little fat on your buttocks/hips, transplanting more there will likely not be successful.
e) there's a very long healing time (several weeks) during which you cannot sit down

For the expense, padded panties are a much, much better option.  Unless your goal is to look great in a bikini at the beach, this just isn't a great procedure, for the large amounts of money and time required.

The only surgeon I ever heard of who did them is Nicholas Chugay ... He's in Beverly Hills, tho, so my guess is he may charge Rodeo Drive prices. But anyway, here's a link to his site. I have no idea at all whether he can deliver what he promises. I've only seen this website ..

http://www.bodyimplants.com/dr-chugay.html (http://www.bodyimplants.com/dr-chugay.html)

I should just add that my fear of narrow hips has eased a lot since I got to know a stunning, all-natural woman who has very narrow hips and relatively broad shoulders ... true, she doesn't have a nice curve around the hip, but she has a cute, neat butt, long legs, no cellulite and looks amazing in jeans and mini-skirts. So that look can work, believe me!

Hi, well you can have your lower rib removed, which gives a smaller waist and so accentuates your hips. But so many women these days are slim hipped and have hardly any figure. You get a smaller waist if you are not overweight, and so more contrast between hips and waist, but  a favourite place for weight to go on is the hips. Personally I would not pad up, nor worry too much about it. Choose your clothing carefully and find what style looks best and most feminine on you. A corset can do wonders if it is a real worry.

Everything that I have herd of has been said here. But I really don't think there are any "safe" ways except to pad up as others have said.

The safest and most effective way to get your hips to grow is to become pregnant! Don't have ovaries? Well, better luck in your next life.
In the meanwhile, become happy with what you have!!!

I, too, have always wanted more in the hip department--partly to balance the broad shoulders I can't do anything about, and partly because I really like the more feminine look extra hip material gives me (especially in skirts).

Weighing the options, discussed in the other posts, I settled on making my own padding.  Sewing teardrop-shaped shoulder pads (from my local fabric store) into the bottom of the leg portion of some thin boy-short panties puts the right shaped padding in the right place.

It's certainly not ideal, but as an everyday thing it fits my needs well--like a padded bra.

If you can't find a commercially available product to fit your needs, experiment with making your own.

You should look up pictures of Harisu, the Korean transsexual.  Her hips are beautiful, and I'm sure she had them augmented, but I wish I knew what she had done!  There ARE hip implants, but I don't think they are worth it.  They start to sag and look awful.

http://ego.globo.com/Gente/Noticias/0,,MUL1009951-9798,00-ROBERTA+CLOSE+TOMA+CALDO+NO+MAR+DE+IPANEMA+NO+RIO+E+EXIBE+CELULITES.html (http://ego.globo.com/Gente/Noticias/0,,MUL1009951-9798,00-ROBERTA+CLOSE+TOMA+CALDO+NO+MAR+DE+IPANEMA+NO+RIO+E+EXIBE+CELULITES.html) <  I believe she had hip injections earlier in life, and now they look a bit strange and saggy.

If you have stomach fat or thigh fat that you would like to get rid of, you could get stem cell fat injections.  They take fat from an area which you don't want fat, mix it with stem cells, and inject it wherever you'd like.  The fat is permanent because of the stem cells and it also helps to accumulate more fat in that area when you gain weight because fat cells have memory.  So you'd have less fat in your stomach/waist and more in your hips/bootay.

I think those Roberta Close pics are, in a funny kind of way, a great advertisement for whatever she had done. Yes, she's a little overweight and she has a bit of sagging around the thighs and butt ... but so do countless millions of other women. It actually serves to make her look less perfect, but more female.

I don't like your name, 'Sad Girl'. Please don't be sad. Transitioning is a challenge but it should be a joy, entering the promised land of femininity. OK, so you have looked at magazines and seen all these gorgeous models, with long limbs, lovely hands, hips and impossible small waists etc., then you stand looking at your reflection and hate what you see because hormones are not a magic potion. Look at women in the street. They don't measure up to these goddesses either, in fact most of them could be from another planet. Don't be so hard on yourself. We all just have to make the best of what we have. As I said before, try americanshapewear their goods are not that expensive and good quality, from the USA by post.

It's called a brazillian butt lift because of the technique.  I'm sure other FFS plastic surgeons do them, but I am familiar with Dr. Zukowski as he did my FFS.

Here is his website but there isn't too much information, it is best to have a consultation with him:
http://www.mlzukowski.com/ (http://www.mlzukowski.com/)

Basically it is a fat transfer where fat from your gut is moved to your butt.  He also does transplant it in the hips.  I don't have any real costs, but I would feel it would be in the $7k-$10K range.

I hope that helps!
