Title: Why I like CRaSH
Post by: Devlyn on April 10, 2011, 11:00:26 AM
This young man finds our community and immediately ruffles our feathers. He is informed that the discrimination transgendered people face is no different than the discrimination African Americans face. His reply? "I'm 19, I haven't faced discrimination." Who here doesn't look forward to the day a transgendered person can say "I haven't faced discrimination." ? So CRaSH, I'm giving you a reputation point, consider it a thank you in advance for trying not to upset my friends here at Susans, we are sensitive people. Hugs, Tracey

I really feel that Crash has been very open about his thoughts.  He has expressed things that could "piss off the Pope".  But I really don't think he meant to.  He is new to our community, and he is trying to learn.

He may still ruffle a few feathers, but he will learn a lot from us.

Thanks Tracey. I like you too.

And Janet if you could tell Susan that is is somewhat difficult to find topics on this board. Because you guys have so many sections that its sometimes difficult.

I possibly wouldn't of even found this topic if I didn't click on "Show unread posts since last visit".

I like Crash too.
He puts things under a magnifying glass to keep the debate alive.
That's good for the debate, he learns from us but we learn from him.
When we all do agree, there is nothing more to learn.
So, keep on going Crash, continue to stimulate our minds.

Thanks. And I have learned alot from trans. Like how
to treat you, and the differnce in behaviour amongst the MTF, and FTM.

I agree with Janet and Annette on this.  Crash gets straight to the point where others tend to take the long way round to getting to the answers that are needed.  A little insensitive at times. But with time, knowledge and understanding this will no longer be a problem.

Warm regards

The online trans community tends to shred "outsiders" who stumble into their forums (oddly enough, even other trans people who are new are treated this way). I can't speak for the face to face community (I avoid it), but I hope it isn't the same...

Just the way things are... kind of sad... but, the world is as it is.

You possibly need to do what I do and have a read routine.

I scan the news sections first, opening each section on a separate tab. Then Just for us, again on a separate tab. Then each of the others. Finally, Transexual Talk.

But I am seriously obscessed.  ::)

No one should be treated as a foreigner. This is a nice place to live.  :-X
