Title: Post-op swelling
Post by: Karynm8621 on April 15, 2011, 11:11:09 AM
Hi,

I had my Srs with Brassard on March 22nd. I'm wondering how long it will take for the swelling to subside enough so it starts looking "normal"

Any help is appreciated
Thanks Karyn

The swelling can take up to 6 months to die down.  Exactly how long it will take for you all depends on how well you're body heals, how healthy you are eating, etc.

i went with a different surgeon, i was almost a brassard girl though and i am sure many will pop in but i found 4-5 months before it looked right to me

i believe anything upto a year for it to finally all settle down as we all heal at diffrent rates ofc

good luck and congratulations
