Title: PROSCAR??? ANTI-ANDROGENS???
Post by: Stephanie.Izann on April 15, 2011, 04:05:21 PM
Just wanted to know if any of you are taking these with your or part of your HRT?  I am thinking of getting on one on top of the Spiro and E.

I would look at your latest blood test results.  If your Testosterone levels are within normal cis female ranges, then no need to be taking another anti-androgen.

Good to know. I am heading back to the doctor in a month or so to get some more blood tests. I guess I am just anxious for more changes.  It can never happen fast enough.  ;D

I use finasteride on top of the spiro and E ...

Girl_Ashley is correct, you may not need it if your T is low.   I continue to take it to ensure no hairloss.
