Title: Met with my Parents and Younger Brother
Post by: Constance on May 03, 2011, 02:20:32 PM
So, a short while ago I posted letters to my parents and two brothers.

My older brother was over for dinner shortly after getting his letter and I was in full "Connie" mode. It was a good evening, there were questions of course, but all was well.

Then, I sat on pins and needles waiting for the week to expire to visit my parents as my mom didn't want to have this talk over the phone. When my wife and I arrived at their house, my younger brother's car was in the driveway.

Turns out I was dreading nothing; it was a non-event.

There were questions, but not as many as I was expecting. Their reqactions were primarily surpirse and curiosity. And, support.

By the gods, but this hasn't been as difficult as I'd been fearing ... so far.
