Title: Facial Hair - Tricks to faster growth?
Post by: Panzer on May 05, 2011, 09:32:57 PM
Has anyone tried using rogain on their face? If so, any results?

How about applying T directly to the skin? I saw someone on youtube saying they do this once a week, and they think it has helped speed up the hair growth. Has anyone here tried this? Any results?

I've found an amazing trick and it's called patience.

Sorry for this,

I remember my wife being told as a preteen that the way to get your boobs to grow was to get a guy to rub them. She told me for weeks her and her sister would pick up their baby brother and rub him across their chests. They both developed boobs so it must be true

Remember guys, as we girls have to remember, is that puberty takes a long time. Some XY males never develop much facial hair, others cannot stop it growing.  It's to do with genetics and T levels. "They" say that we girls develop about one size smaller than our genetic sisters or mothers in the boob dept. I'm not sure if that holds true in the male line as well as far as facial hair, never seen a comment on it too be honest.

Hugs Guys, and you are welcome to shaving the face. Mmm I do more shaving as a girl as I ever did as a guy

^This^.

I've seen results of cis guys using rogaine. It often works but rogaine has many potential side effects, is expensive and if you stop using it the new hair may disappear. Not to mention that it is intended for the scalp not the face.

There is a reason for injectable T being injected: it is not absorbed through the skin.

Transdermal T (gel, cream) is absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream. The area of application makes no difference to the hairiness of the area.

I have never tried to 'speed up' my facial hair growth.  I want it very bad, I can't express that enough, but after over 3 years on T, and just having now sideburns, I realize it takes time.  But, I could grow a mean neckbeard if I wanted.  (GROSS!)...lol

However, you can browse the "Beard Board Forums" for info. on Rogaine and facial hair improvement.  Through that board the members are pretty damn smart and mention it DOES NOT speed up growth or cause NEW hair to come in.  It simply takes what you have into thicker hairs.
