Just a little something I wanted to share with you guys. I was walking down the hall of my college and this really cute blonde smiled (like a flirty smile) at me and when she passed she was all "Hey I like your shirt" Which was really awesome and I said "I like yours too." and her smile kind of faded and she was all "Oh well... I have to get to class." and hurried off. That kind of sucked. So until T has a better hold on my voice I've decided I'm not going to talk! Actually I'll probably still talk all the time. Just wanted to share.
Ah dude, that's terrible. I'm going to have the same problem with passing it seems, my voice is indeed deep for a girl but for a guy's it's just too high.
Aw, that sucks. I'm sorry. That's happened to me too.
Her loss.
Hey thanks guys. Yeah I wasn't super upset about it or anything (I have an SO after all) I just am having fun flirting and such while being perceived as male and it kills me that my voice isn't matching up though honestly I'm really surprised I even passed that well. IMO I don't think I pass but I also have self-image issues so...
Hey Finn. I can totally relate. I'm currently trying to train myself to deepen my voice (much like MTFs voice train) until I can get on T. Sometimes, though, I slip up. It's especially obnoxious when my voice does that thing where it raises at the end of a sentence. I guess I would say a half pass is still a pass! *high five*
Hey man, half a pass is still a hell of a lot better than no pass! I've had this happen a few times, but in reverse. Not nearly as bad anymore because I'm wearing two binders and hoodies, but prior to that someone would see me and call me her or she, and then they'd hear my voice and just be royally confused.
My voice is girlish-high already, but it does this weird thing when it breaks and goes even higher/squeakier. It's really weird and embarrassing when it happens. I mean, it's high already, why does it have to break and become higher?!
