OK. So, this past Tuesday, I began meeting with a GT. Things are moving forward (at least as far as I was concerned). I have target dates. I have a big 'fro on my head from going over 2 months without have a cut.
So what's the issue?
A family friend called me this afternoon and left a voice message. She gave me the number of a girl she wants to set me up with. She sounds nice.
Ugh. I'm interested. I want to call her. (in case it's not obvious, yes, I'm a future(?) lesbian)
I'd like to meet a nice girl. I just don't think it's fair for me or her given my future plans for myself.
I think I'm just kind of venting but if you have thoughts, go for it.
Just my own thought. But is it fair on her to assume that she won't be interested?
If she isn't, is there any harm?
And is it fair on you to start off by assuming you won't fit in?
As I said, just some observations. I do hope you will respond, perhaps putting your position more clearly.
I don't think giving it a shot would be unfair as long as you let her know what is up before things get too serious. If you find that your plans make you both incompatible you're both free to move on.
I'm going to call her. I'm going to see if she wants to go out but I'm not going to say anything unless things start to progress. Let her get to know me and me her.
Oh, by the way, another girl gave me her number tonight. What the hell? I had to realize I no longer want to be a man to all of the sudden become a ladies man? :icon_chuckel:

That may be more significant than you realise.
A nice, gentle person, concerned about their hygine, intersted in the feminine aspects rather than some guy, showing off and getting a lay.
