Looking for a new hobby to fill up my spare time. So, wondering what others do for an enjoying hobby when quiet time gets to be too much.
I have a number of hobbies. I write short stories, essays, and poems. Others include cooking, growing herbs, African and Native-American culture to mention a few.
Gennee
:)
Hey Gennee. If you like Native American culture, would like to talk. I'm half Abenaki Indian. One thing in my life that i am proud of.
Playing video games (number one hobbie since my early teens), cross-stitching (video game characters), sometimes create sprites (another video game influence), used to read (Dragonlance, Star Trek, Buffy, Forgotten Realms, that sorta stuff) but haven't in a while (I go through my phases where I'll read a ton of books one year, the next barely any or not at all), sit around on the internet, I really don't do a whole lot of different things, but do enjoy what things I do like.
I just play video games and listen to music.
I've been a crocheter for years, but have recently taught myself to knit, so I've been knitting a lot lately.
I play World of Warcraft, City of Heroes, Guild Wars, Sims 3, listen to music, watch movies, and build puppets. I actually have pics of the puppets I've built =] It's easier than it seems, and quite enjoyable.
I crochet a lot. I've got a blanket going from all the leftover scraps, it's going to be ugly as hell. ;D I also paint a little from time to time. I've got a small collection of fish I've painted on rocks, and I've been customizing some Magic: The Gathering cards for my boyfriend. I also read; I'm partial to all sorts of memoirs and nonfiction. In the summer I ride my bike. I have a growing rock and mineral collection that I need to work on organizing and displaying.
