I thought it was time I contributed to the trend of positive threads popping up lately ;D
Anyway - the nature of this disorder we're diagnosed with means we spend a lot of time hating what nature gave us. But our bodies still have good points, and that's what this thread is about. What are your favourite features? What part of your body/face makes you smile instead of frown?
I'll start: I've always loved my arms. I like to feel strong, I've been doing heavy lifting while working in an off-licence (as a woman), and one of the highlights was when a couple of kids stared at my arms, remarking "She's got muscles!" Seeing them get more muscular on T is such a great feeling ^_^
Your turn! Time to toss modesty out of the window ;)
i like that even though my eyes and hair are brown, they are so dark they can seem black. also my hands. sure they are too big, but at least their long reach is super useful
I'd have to say I have pretty awesome legs. They're toned and not super skinny not to mention perfectly proportioned.
Example:
(https://www.susans.org/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fa4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net%2Fhphotos-ak-ash4%2F226299_221270864552330_100000082533084_934841_2982251_n.jpg&hash=ffa1e4199e0f410db8bcbf66d829e9f16781c098)
This was of course pre-transition but the legs haven't changed much. BTW props to whoever can guess where the pose is from.
I really like my eyes, their light blue with a dark blue circle around them. Also I love all the body hair I have thanks to T.
The title of this thread sucked me right in! I have to go with my legs, too! Gawd, I got a pair of stilts! Sorry, no way to post a picture. (dumbphone)
I love my male: ability to find my way without maps or gps, situational awareness, analytical mind, controlled fearlessness, and mechanical skills (I can fix almost anything, from broken arms to broken computers)
I can't think of anything on me that I really like. It really doesn't matter because ever since I started transitioning I've been a lot happier about myself.

I had to go back and watch it to be sure my memory wasn't playing tricks on me, but that's the Chris Farley and Patrick Swayze SNL dance, isn't it? ;D I wouldn't have remotely made that connection if my brother and his best friend hadn't gone as that for Halloween last year. It was a total riot! Their dance is on Youtube, and no, I'm not linking...
Think my favorite features are my multi-colored eyes, which are blue and have a dark blue ring on the outside. In certain angles of sunlight, the inner part turns almost gray and the outer part doesn't change, so I wind up looking like a husky. ;D I also like my small nose, a gift from my grandpa that nobody else in the family shares. Then there's my natural lack of an adam's apple, which, transition-wise, is probably my favorite thing. And since there's no balding in my family, I really do like that I still have a full head of hair at 33, and that my hair is naturally wavy. :)
My hair. I've always loved having long hair since I've been old enough to determine how I wanted my hair, very early teens, maybe a little earlier, its just me. I can't do much with it because I have no skills at all with styling, but I still love having it. I have cut my hair at time, kinda short, thought it was a good idea at those times or got convinced that I should, that I look cute or some other thing with shorter hair, but always ended up regretting it and can't wait for it to all grow long again. The one time that I hurt myself years ago denying myself of who I was, trying to convince myself that I was not a girl, I had shaved my head completely bald because I knew how much my hair meant to me and that this would most certainly hurt me a lot, only problem was that it didn't bother me that much because I knew it would grow back. Now, if I started losing my hair to baldness, this would be devistating for me, this has been one of the top things bothering me most about having been off the hormones for so long, I cannot lose any of my hair, it can go white, I don't care, but so long as its all there I'm happy.

Wasn't that a pose that Rocky did in RHPS?

So obviously I've never seen that movie... :icon_redface: :icon_redface: :icon_redface:

Nope... :icon_yikes: My whole life, I've never been into anything camp. And this from someone who was into glam rock and is fixated on the fact that Marc Bolan died eight days before I was born! Though that's mostly because an overwhelming number of the bands I listen to have covered
at least one T. Rex song.
My eyes.
Hmm... actually.

It rather depends on the lighting, but they go from blue to green, and everything between, lol.
I am the perfect mega-boobed, curvaceous, fat-bird!

Perfect! I'd like to see those in every color and every emotion too. :)

Indubitably! You've definitely got the assets! :)
I have to admit I'm growing partial to my gut now that it's got hair on it. There's just something so satisfying about displaying a big hairy gut.

Eww...Why would you want that?
Probably weird, but I like my mouth.
I like my eyes, they're blue-green and seem to "change colours". I also like my nose in the summer, it gets freckles from sunlight and I like how that looks on me. My "wispy pre-T moustache" is also pretty cool, despite it not showing up on photos and stuff; a cismale friend of mine once said "Your 'stache is bigger than mine! That's totally unfair!". :)
I'm standing tall at 5'5"!
Always like my eyes. Lately I have been getting more compliments on them how pretty they are. I have really long lashes to boot as well or so I gave told by my dentist the other day when in went in for cleaning.

Well, I'll play the game but please don't lynch me. (i did warn you it was a long list)
I like my legs and my figure in general, I especially like the fact my body wants to be size 10 but my boobs are already C cup ;D
I also really like my eyes, they're the colour of the sea and the actual colour varies depending on my mood and the season.
I love my tattoos and how delicately boned my hands are and I really like my facial features.
I guess I just like being me.
As a resident Archangel (albeit undercover ;) ) - I call foul because Goddesses competing against mere ephemerals is an unfair contest. ;D
PS - no throwing thurnderbolts at me please!
Does that mean Helena is going to Rapture us all today?
I like that I have nice, broad shoulders and am fond of my cheeks/jaw line.
Darn and here I was hoping to be taken up into the Bosom of Abraham, I mean Helena. Because you know, it's all awesome and whatnot.
I've always liked my eyes...and my cheekbones. :)
Despite wanting to be a guy, I've always been very proud of my face, the entire thing. My eyes, lips, nose, jaw. I'm beautiful and know it, I just wish I was a beautiful GUY, not born a beautiful girl.

Apparently you can be a hot guy even with a total girl face. For example:
Girl: "You're really hot by the way."
Me: "Thanks, you do know I'm not a guy right?"
Girl:"Oh, well...you're still hot."
I suspect she might have been a little bit drunk when this exchange happened.
So I'm starting to appreciate both my feminine charm and dashing good looks. It makes both men and women go weak in the knees.

Well I'm happy to arrange being swept into the Bosom of Helena on a more intimate, 1-2-1 basis ;) ;D
Is that an offer? I wouldn't say no... ;)
I believe the term is "motorboatable."
I should be there in four. It's going to be so awesome I might just have to let someone.

Cheekbones, gimme gimme haha :)
I've always loved I have soft features, not liking my still chubby face but that's getting rectified,
<<<is losing weight hell yeah :D
Look what I just discovered! (This thread!)
What do I like about me.... Hmmmm.....
The color of my natural, curly, bouncy hair. (MPB runs in the family though, and I'm paranoid about losing ANY of it!)
My face - without facial hair
5 ft 5 inches, 143 pounds, 38 / 28 / 36, small hands, size 8.5 / 9 feet
My incredible color changing light green / blue eyes
My awesome booty
Just do some work and I have no reason to hate myself at all.
/ego inflation done.
Standing 5 ft 10 " I have long svelte legs and a bubble butt that fascinate the boys; a beautiful smile and long blondish hair. I love to look myself in the whole body mirrors, the really fun part is that often I do it together with my daughters.
I love to flirt, and pose just to be admire or ogled at, and look or so innocent >:-)
i like my eyes. most people like blue eyes, but i like the shape, and the dark brown goes with my features
