I been on hrt for two weeks nd havent noticed anything, with the exception, that i pee a lot not. i think i get irritated faster..but other than that..i havent noticed any changes. When did you notice your first change? nd what was it? i had feelings of crying..but never cried..im not so sure..
For me it was about four to six weeks, and it was that my pants didn't fit anymore because my butt was getting bigger.
Hehe, one has to be PATIENT when on HRT. Things just wont happen overnight. I dont know how many times we have to keep saying that here.
It took me 3 weeks to notice a slowdown in body hair regrowth, literally, by a total of (drumroll!) 9 hours. That's right. I know how many hours it took for my hair to grow. OCD much? Yes.
My skin dried out around 4 weeks.
I got increased nipple sensitivity 6 weeks in, that comes and goes.
It takes time to notice things, unless you're highly dysphoric and hyper aware of body things.
It takes time. You may be on a low starting dosage as well. I stopped having the woodies and had no more urges to mastrubate at 2 1/2 weeks into the half dosage plus the nipples started getting tender, full dosage at the start of the second month. 2 months in, I noticed my attitude had changed and joined Susan's. I was slow to recognize that change as you may as well. Everybody is different.

Funny, I started HRT the same day as you
I had started right after my birthday. It took a while to get the prescription and delayed for a Monday start (business week start) to track things easier. I did the herbals almost exactly 1 year before to compare, that's was no comparason. 28 day calender wheel to make things easier as well.
Joelene.
Like many people have said it takes a while to start seeing changes, around the 1 month mark seems to be where you can start to notice things. For me one of the biggest changes was my change in libido, It significantly dropped off quickly. My skin also started to get softer and you may feel a slight tingling in your breasts. Even on a dose of Spiro and Estradiol I had some breast development by the third month. Since it happens so gradually you won't notice any huge changes until the 6-12 month mark. Then you will look back and realize how much you've changed!
I began to notice slight changes after about a month but the more noticeable changes started at about the 3 month mark and the changes seem to go in 3 month cycles after that
Breast growth, redistribution of fat, muscle loss, skin and hair changes... Emotional roller coaster :P
That's all I can think of off the top of my head right now
I noticed a positive change in my mental state almost immediately but the physical changes took a few months to see.

Since being on a strict diet for past 3 years I kept on loosing weight slowly, about 1.2 lbs/month. When I introduced full blast HRT, and I mean full blast, my weight has dropped another 10lbs in the next week because of Spiro (diuretic). I have been on Natural Estrogen for past 2 years and when doctor heard of that he went full blast with the treatment. My breasts have grown 1 cup size since beginning near 3 months ago, nipples are so sensitive that just brushing them against anything sends me ouching, my butt is much rounder towards the bottom, but waist remains where it was, and it was already OK, since my diet did the trick. Body hair diminished in growth and thickness about 2 months in, face started to change but that is such a subjective observation that I am not going to go there. So over all 3 months in and ton of immediate changes that can never come quick enough :)
