So I went with my gf to this local Scrabble tournament at a bar. Mostly hipster crowd, a few older folks. Every single person there he'd me, I couldn't believe it. Lately it feels like people avoid pronouns with me but tonight it seemed like everyone was gendering me. Since I was passing so well I decided to use the men's room (first time). I was so nervous going in but it turned out fine, went in the stall and did my thing. To top it off I actually ended up winning the tournament. Truly felt like a man tonight for the first time, through and through. I mean I've felt it inside for awhile now but having people see me as unequivocably male just really solidified everything for me. So happy. Thanks for reading, just had to share this somewhere.
Wow that's awesome dude. I'm surprised you don't pass more and that tonight was your first time in a men's room. It really is one thing to feel like a man inside and another to be socially male.
Fantastic! I still get a little nervous using the men's room too, but it get easier the more you do it. I'm glad you had such a good night, way to go!

Hahah after a year of using the mens room, and being 3 months post-op and 19 months on T I stillllll get nervous using it hahah =(
Haha, yikes! Makes sense, gotta get past the psychology of it. It's a little tormenting for me because I can go standing up perfectly without an STP device, but not without taking off my pants XD Grah!

hahahah yeah I finally gave up on finding one that looked realistic and got one that just works really well. I just got it this week and today I was brave and used it a couple of times at a urinal. I forgot how great the feeling was but was still worried someone would see my device.
lexical: did you use a device or a stall?
That's awesome! I was nervous to use the men's room at first. I am also a very shy pisser. So I tend to avoid crowded bathrooms and try to use private home bathrooms more or less. I'm just weird like that. But I remember, pre-T, a woman looked at me like I was crazy when I was washing my hand in the lady's room and went "Young man, this is the girls restroom", and I said "I know". And she stared at me really funny.
It's good to be men! And be mean to the public, in social situations. Hopefully it continues!
Thanks guys. Yeah it felt great to go in there but it's scary for sure. I don't carry an STP with me yet since I haven't been using public bathrooms but I think I'm gonna start. I look forward to the day when someone perfects an STP packer... the only one I feel comfortable with is one of the non-realistic devices which sucks since I'd really like to have the option of going at the urinal. Do you guys feel comfortable using a non-packer STP at a urinal?
da monkey: I went in the stall and just sat down, had no device on me. I'm gonna start carrying my go guy though (can't bear to say the real name lol).
Haha I had an experience like that Ratchet! I stepped out of the stall, gave my appearance a one over in the mirror, and this chick walked in. She froze, stared at me blankly, then coughed awkwardly and went into the stall behind me XD She looked like she wanted to check the door to be sure that she was in the right place.

Thanks man. Yeah I know what you mean about passing in the women's room, lol (possibly the most unwanted pass ever). This happened to me a few times, usually just very confused looks. After that I stopped using them completely so for a few months now I've avoided public bathrooms altogether.
Hahah yeah I had that. At my last job a girl was telling me a story and then was going to the washroom so she told me to come with. I told her I didn't want to and she said no one was in there so it was okay. So I followed and stood by the mirrors as she continued her story. Then these two girls walked in and then went oh ->-bleeped-<- and walked out looking at the door to see if they were in the right washroom.
I made an embarrassing face and was like "no you're in the right washroom... I am obviously not. - insert co workers name-, I am going to wait outside okay?" hahahahah
I use the snee kee oh man it works when you are like border-line pissing your pants hahahahah and doesn't leak. if I use it in a stall I just keep the door open to seem more guyish I guess.

I've heard a lot of good things about the snee kee... does it just fit in your pocket? I hate carrying bags so I just keep my stuff in pockets, cargo shorts ftw haha

yeah it fits in my pockets. and I wear cheap walmart pants so I imagine my pockets are rather small compared to other pants. though I noticed it's better to put it in receptacle first and have the spout facing up the best way. since that way
if there is anything left in it, it will just sit inside the end instead of leaking in your pocket.

Good to know, thanks dude. I'm gonna order one for sure. Do they hold up well? Might order 2 so I have a backup.

The old ones didn't, but I got mine this week and they are made out of a different material that seems to be more flexible. so I think it holds much better already. I also got two just in case, plus it's cheaper that way.
awsome well done you, dont think i have the gut to use it yet even though i pass, and know how u feel i stopped using the public loo for a long time since the last time i went in to the woman loo, i keep getting stared at and been told ur in the wrong loo lol!
Hopefully i will one day need to find a gent where is quiet and to the area i don't know either so i have less chance bumping into people i know, also worryed i might talk and my voice might give way.
