Title: HELP. Who knew the thought of simming would be so scary?
Post by: cryan91 on May 31, 2011, 04:02:52 PM
I was raised on the beaches of Long Island. Spent summers constantly swimming. Love the water. Huge place in my heart for it.
This is my first summer off LI and I figured I wouldnt have to worry about going swimming and such now. But I'm going to a lakehouse with a few of my friends and we're all gonna go swimming. I really want to. I just dont know how to work it! I'm not fluent in tucking garbage. What do you all do??

Another option is the' boy-leg' swimsuit. Blair usually has several in their catalog.

Women's board shorts and bikini top.  I haven't gone yet, but that's what I would wear if I did.

Yeah, I went to a pool party the other day and there were lots of ladies in board shorts and bikini tops. I, being a bit more modest, wore board shorts over a one-piece. Worked great. I found the board shorts with all the other women's swimwear at Wal-Mart.

What I did was to get a women's compression garment originally meant to keep the tummy under control and found it was so snug on my body it kept all my boy parts in tow.  When wearing a one-piece bathing suit over that, I had the appearance as though I only had girl parts.  The only caveat is that the one-piece has to be cut in a conservative enough way to hide the under garment both in the bikini area and in the lower back area.

Male swimming trunks female top part... Least that's how I approach the problem you wear those things to cover up parts you don't want to reveal... so you cover up both.

Getting everyone drunk and going night skinny dipping proved to be somewhat of a solution to this issue...somehow.

Pre-surgery, I wore 2-3 thongs underneath a bikini bottom and sometimes I still wore short shorts over that.

I haven't been cleared for jacuzzi / swimming pool yet post-surgery but I can't wait to get into a bikini!!! =)
