Some things I am grateful for...
- for my hero Pierre Brassard
- for the correction of my body ...for my lovely vagina and breasts.
- for the softness of my body, for its female smell, the curves I have, for my emotions
- for my body's amazing femaleness
- for estrogen only running through my body (testosterone free!)
- for being healed of dysphoria
- for my own acceptance of my body, for the confidence it has given me to live
- for the change of my legal gender status (except for BC)
- for the opportunities I have now for a happy life
- for seeing the smile on my guys face as he makes love to me
- for walking wherever and just being seen and known as a woman
- for running a marathon as a woman
- for being a member of the Womens Billiards Tour
- for dancing the follow instead of the lead in partner dancing
- for the friends I've made while here
- for the chance to make my dreams come true ...to fall in love and open my heart to a special man
I am sure there are more.
What are you grateful for, related to completion of your transition, if you care to share?

lol- well I'm thankful for my hero, Dr. Christine McGinn :) Also most of the things you already mentioned concerning being physically corrected. I'm grateful for my wonderful boyfriend who is on his way now to pick me up to spend the weekend - being with him has a way of putting all these things into perspective for me like nothing else can.
I'm thankful we have a place we can share our experiences and help each other when we need it. But most of all, I'm thankful that my body fits my mind. There is no feeling in the world like having a life-long illness finally cured, once and for all. No one can ever take that away from me, and for that I will be eternally grateful.
*hugs* Valerie! Have a great weekend! :-*
Kia Ora,
::)
I'm grateful to the Buddha for showing my "self" the way
I'm grateful for the peace I've found in every single day
I'm grateful for the bird song that greets the rising sun
I'm grateful to the sentient beings I pass on my morning run
I'm grateful when I'm happy I'm grateful when I'm sad
I'm grateful when I'm feeling sane and even when a little mad
I'm grateful for every thing and grateful for no thing too
I'm grateful for experiences which shows me what's true
I'm grateful just for the sake of it, call it gratitude
::) I'm grateful...[I guess most grateful] I'm no longer a dude! ;)
Metta Zenda :)
