Title: Started HRT
Post by: Constance on June 06, 2011, 09:38:21 AM
As of Sunday 5 June, I've started HRT.

I guess I should be thrilled, and part of me certainly is, but this is the final nail in the coffin for my marriage. And that stinks.

I'm sorry to hear about the devolution of your marriage. That should make it more interesting once ththe emotions kick in...  I hope all goes well.  I'll be around if you need someone to vent to.

Yeah, I'm both dreading and curious as to how that's going to play out.

And, I picked a lousy place for the estrogen patch and it's not comfortable. Well, I guess that's just trial and error.

Thanks, Julya.

We all have to make the sacrifices necessary to be our true selves.

I've heard that on the shoulder blade, or your rear are good places.  I will be getting my approval letter in the next couple of weeks, and I'll probably start next month...  I hope your SO will stand by, and see you through it, but it depends on what they can handle...
