Title: Favorite haircuts
Post by: James42 on June 09, 2011, 05:04:23 PM
I've decided I wanna do something a little different with my hair, so I'm getting a haircut tomorrow before I leave for vacation to Indiana. And I thought it'd be interesting to see what are some of your guys (even the girls' opinions) favorite haircuts/styles. Pictures welcomed too

I just got a fauxhawk and I love it. People keep saying it looks good on me.

I like hair a bit longer and choppy or shaggy. On myself, there isn't much of anything that looks good since I have curly, frizzy, poofy hair.  :D

Faux hawks are over done...I got one, it's sad. I don't really ever spike it, I don't even like it. However I hate really short hair, I like having more in the middle. I'm probably letting mine grow into a slightly longer shag but still short...as long as it looks nothing like Bieber...I don't got anything against the kid but I HATE the constant comments about how my hair looks just like his, despite the fact I probably had it first, as did a million other people who they could say I look like...but no, freaking Justin Bieber. This kid has made my life a nightmare with hair.

I got a (lite) fauxhawk recently and am pretty happy with it. I used a #3 razor on the sides and left the top as is, so it's not as short as some fauxhawks, but still looks alright. The look seems to be pretty popular in the community.

I like mid-length kind of messy cuts.

My favorite is the ceasar cut-- short and pushed forward with a nice short fringe.  I want to try to get that cut, but I'm not sure I'll be able to.  My hair is just so thick.

This.  It looks a lot better than a buzz on many people, and it's not as troublesome to take care of as long hair.

I'm a sucker for the Robert Smith-ish hair. Oldschool gothy hair will always win me over, right now I'm really digging my half-baldness though. My hair was about three inches long, except the front, and I shaved off the sides. So I've got a mohawk that I'll probably never spike up. It feels awesome, though, especially with the heat.

I had 1.5" caesar for years and my hair is thick enough for 3 people.   Make sure they razor cut the top; it makes all the difference.

My avatar is a picture of Stephen Morrissey. I love his hair. Now quite sure what it's called. When my hair gets a little longer I'm going to cut it like that.

I love his hair, if I ever decide to cut my hair i'd want it like in your avatar.

Your suggestion has won me over; I was going to get my hair like Pris from Blade Runner (I'm such a manly man), but straightening that every day would be a hassle, plus I'm not sure if I could pull it off (not to mention bleaching death).

And, on an unrelated note, I know a ->-bleeped-<-load of lesbians with fauxhawks, so I'd avoid that (though to be fair, I also know a lot of gay guys with them; there's certain lesbians and certain gay guys that dress similarly to each other).

Oh god, hair like Pris... Please, please, PLEASE put up pictures. If you do, you have to do the sprayed-on eye makeup as well.

BladeRunner is one of my absolute favourite films, I know most of the dialogue by heart, and also love listening to the soundtrack (Vangelis made such beautiful music for it...).

I also dig oldschool gothy hair. Oldschool goth in general looked awesome! Here is a blog that might give you inspiration or ideas:

Seconding that. That'd just be badass.

My favourite haircuts...hm, I always like military hair cuts like the high and tight. Other than that I like Frank Iero's haircut from '05 which was like a weird emo hawk which I believe Max Greene from Escape the Fate also wore at one time or another. Right now I have a bikers rat tail.

my fav haircuts are always buzzes, caesar or somethin similar
yo i had a question for you guys. im not sure this time if i should get a shape up or jus a regular buzz? the shape up is the cut out like my profile pic. thats what i get mostly. it grows out in like a week or so tho then jus looks shaggy (compared to my clean crop)
