This is totally off topic, but I just wanted to say I love your cat! He is so handsome! I had a Siamese for 14 years, but we had to put him to sleep because of his old age. I really want another one!

This is interesting...in my usual fashion, I seem to have typed quite a bit here.
1.) I'm a big automotive freak. Two of my favorite makes are Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, and I also love classics; there's a few makes that I don't like at all and for absolutely no reason, which includes Toyota and Lexus, Hyundai, and Kia.
2.) Not only that, but I love to drive, too. I hope that if we have a future ahead of us where the driver is taken out of the equation and automotives no longer have style or sex-appeal, or a beautiful rev to them, that I don't live to see such a thing.
3.) I really love working with my hands, especially taking things apart and putting things together (even so far as taking things apart just to see if I can put them back together and still have them work properly).
4.) I really enjoy learning about other cultures and countries, just about any aspect of them, including their foods. I also like history.
5.) I'm working on learning German and Russian, and to an extent Spanish as well. I took three years of French in school and hardly learned a thing.
6.) I love being outside hiking, camping, four-wheeling -- all sorts of things. I wish I had more opportunities to do so.
7.) There's a lot of movies I'd really like to see, but I rarely actually make an effort to see the movies I want to.
8.) I'm actually a really private person. Even with people I know well and have known for a while. It's rare that I truly share things that I feel are personal or more private. Even on Facebook most of my statuses are just completely random and/or superficial things.
9.) I love paranormal-based Tv shows, as well as criminal-based (Criminal Minds, Law & Orders, NCIS). I also love Archer, House, Top Gear, and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.
10.) Music helps me deal with life and helps keep me focused; I listen to everything from metal and industrial, hard and classic rock, rap, jazz and swing, blues, classical, even some country. I also like foreign music (Rammstein and a Russian band called Pilot are amongst my absolute favorites). Songs about sex really amuse me.
1.) I survived 20 years in the military.
2.) I really enjoy sci-fi and comedy.
3.) I was the first goalie for the Bahrain National Hockey team.
4.) I build costumes for conventions when not drowning in homework.
5.) I play MMOs (currently only Rift)

1. I'm a dreamer. No matter where I am, or who I'm with, I have a hard time connecting with reality and leaving my inner world.

@ Ryan: VAST! Awesome, next to nobody has heard the awesomeness of Jon Crosby, that I know of. And Nobuo Uematsu is an amazing composer, best game OST around was ffVII's imo.
1. At my core I'm hopelessly optimistic. I try to cover it up with layers of pessimism, but really, I always jump to good conclusions when presented with new situations. I'm happy that that hasn't been broken in me yet, so I doubt it ever will be :)
2. Music is life to me, I play guitar, bass, keyboard and have always wanted to play drums, plus I collect weird instruments.
3. In accordance to 2, I'd rather lose my eyesight than my hearing- I couldn't live without being able to hear.
4. If I was a Sim in Sims 2, my life aspiration would be "Family". All I want to do is share my life with someone, and despite every marriage around me and those on TV / in the media, I still believe for me there is someone and that a life long partnership can work.
5. I've wanted a cat for ages and now my friend has one, I love it to bits, we're going to kind of share it and this is an awesome development!
6. I have a gaming addiction, and was addicted to the escapism- I often run away from problems. I wasted a lot of my life playing an mmorpg called Everquest and then a free emulator of that called Shards of Dalaya. With a lot of willpower I stopped playing, but I get sucked in to games very easily.
7. I'm almost always the first person to say sorry in an argument, I've become very good at apologising

1. I have fourteen tattoos. One is actually a tattoo of the library building I used to work at. It was the best job ever and I was so sad when it was closed down.
2. I have two cats and a rabbit. They each have their own "voice" I made up and make them "say" silly things to me with it.
3. My favorite band is Bloc Party.
4. I wanted to be a police officer or prison guard so I went to school for criminal justice. After years of trying, I can't pass the psychological evaluations (I personally think it's because I'm trans....as I am very "sound" in real life...work ft...go to school ft...) so I've given up and am working on my Bachelor's in Legal Studies. I plan on going to law school to get my Master's.
5. I rarely ever drink alcohol but when I do it's Captain and Coke. It was the first drink I've ever ordered and I've never strayed.
6. I love food. Like...I know a lot of people like food. But I LOVE food. It's almost gross.
7. I think hip hop/ breakdancing is the coolest thing ever.
8. I love getting the mail. It's never anything exciting....but I still love getting it.

6. The smell that some old books can have (a slightly sweet smell) is one of the most wonderful smells in the world, it invokes feelings of safety and comfort. If someone were to make a perfume/soap/whatever with that scent, I'd buy 100 bottles of it.
7. I have a cute pet lizard, she's a leopard gecko and I got her when I was 9, so she's an old lady by now.
8. Among my large amount of stuffed animals, I have a bat, a spider, two dinosaurs (one ceratosaur and the other is an unidentifiable creature with a long neck), a lemur, a bushbaby and a tiny dragon I've sown myself.
9. When I was younger, I was obsessed with ants, and pretty much saw the world through an "ant filter" (I related everything to ants, such as "There's mushrooms for dinner. A species of ants grow mushrooms which they feed to the ant larvae.").
10. I'm a bit like Marty McFly when it comes to challenges and dares; I can't back down, I have to do it (no matter how stupid it is).

after reading through this thread i've come to the conclusion that you guys are all awesome!
1. I love skateboarding and have wanted to been a professional skateboarder since the age of ten. That being said, I'm not nearly good enough at skating to be a pro. Lately I've been getting back on my board and I hope to be the first transman to go pro!

4 ) My favorite beverage is created by combining one part Mug Rootbeer with one and a half parts Lemonade. YUM!
5 ) I have a serious obsession with anything that has to do with the criminal justice system, and frequently watch Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, and Judge Alex!
6 ) My favorite movie ever is Battle Royale, and I'd like to rape Tatsuya Fujiwara some day!
7 ) I am a total and complete nerd for all things Marvel related, and have a serious fascination with the X-men; especially Gambit, Havok, and Archangel!
8 ) More than anything, I want to one day own a ridiculous expensive and ridiculous beautiful Harley Davidson motor-cycle!
9 ) Moths terrify the ever loving hell out of me!
10 ) And I believe that Disney is a horrible corporation that should burn for filling childrens' head with nothing but lies, false dreams, and disgusting stereotypes!

1. My music taste is incredibly eclectic. Marilyn Manson will always be the top for me, and my personal hero, but I've spent the past week bouncing around from Frank Sinatra to Otep to Stevie Nicks and a lot in between.
2. Music means a lot to me. If not for it I would've lost my mind. Singing is the only time I feel 100% confident and damn glad to be me.
3. I also paint, write, sew, and a whole bunch of other things. I'm hoping to set up an Etsy soon in attempts to make some damn money.
4. Cooking is an addiction for me, and an awesome stress reliever. However, I can't bake worth crap. Unless it's brownies.
5. I have a huge, laughable weakness for animals. Dogs in particular. Seeing my dogs, or anyone's dog, can make my entire day better.
6. I spend entirely too much time online. Most of it's either on the forum I run, the TwilightSucks forum, or Babalon (the Marilyn Manson forum). Why? Because I'm lazy, and kind of anti-social, and I've always articulated myself a hell of a lot better via typing.
7. My mom will always be one of my bestest friends. Over the past few years I've learned just how amazing she is, and how we can talk about literally anything. It's a great feeling.
8. I want to go to India someday. I can't even really say why, but I've wanted to for a while now. I took an Asian Art History class and we covered a lot of Hindu/Buddhist stuff, and it was incredibly interesting to me.
9. I love cemeteries. When it's nice out here, instead of going to a park, we go to a cemetery about 5 minutes from my house. It's a beautiful place, there's almost always no one there, and I like tombstones. A lot. Last year we had a picnic at one of our favorite mausoleums on Day of the Dead, and it was awesome.
10. Joel Peter Whitkin, Hans Bellmer and Francis Bacon are my absolute favorite artists. Bacon especially has influenced my style a lot.
