Would you like to/Have you kept the same profession/job since transitioning ?

I work three jobs and transitioned on all three at the same time.

I would have transitioned early if I knew it would be so easy.

Not transitioned yet, I hate my job in the male dominated field of heavy construction and will retire before going FT. Even if I wanted to stay, as was mentioned in other threads, it is nearly impossible to transition in this line of work and keep your employment status.

Transitioned on the job 3 years ago.  Want to move along to where nobody knows.  I dislike pronoun slips all these years later; seems more frequent lately for some reason.  Drives me batty.

I didn't vote.  Mine would have been "Transitioned and lost my job".

But yes, I would have loved to stay in the profession I had spent my life in.  I was very good at what I did and well respected, until I was outed.  And getting the monkey off my back without facing prejudice and discrimination would have freed up a lot of my mental energies.  I believe I could have done a much better job. 

In a different world, yes, I would still be working and enjoying it.

When I began my transition I kept the same job.  But later I was let go, unrelated to transition.  I am now back in school, learning new things.  I will get certified as a Veterinary Tech, and my patients will care less.  Their owners might but then again they will not know.
