I can't send messages?

I try to send private/personal messages but I keep getting error.

SMF has an option which limits the amount of personal messages a user can send in a 1 hour period. It's primary function is to stop spammers registering at a site and carpet-bombing every user with PM's peddling their wares before being caught and banned.

Cause I've had conversations with Joey a million times and I'm pretty sure we've sent way more than 20.
I had never had seen it do that before. Or maybe we didn't send 20, I have no idea now.

No, I don't think it's new. The feature is part of the architecture of the software rather than a mod.

It doesn't add sent and recieved messages though. So if that total is over 20 then that's different to sending 20. I mean, on average that's one every three minutes.

More than one every 3 minutes would be a lot.

I was talking to multiple people last night, which I never usually do.
Probably why I got that.
