The Way by Fastball. There's groups come out of nowhere make a fantastic song then vanish. This is one. A cheery but dark song based on a real life event. Also a great video with an Oldsmobile convertible

Nice pick!.. I got to see them 3 times... Always an amazing show!... I spent years with my guitar tuned down a half step and my delay box on dotted 8th learning U2 songs! Their newer stuff hasn't thrilled me but, I did here some interesting things on their very latest...

New Years Day actually came out in '83 about the Polish Solidarity Movement in Poland led by Lech Walesa which started in '80
