I was FDAB and genderfluid.  According to my sister, my mom suspects that I'm gay since I cut my hair short, but that is not the case, being genderfluid.  Apparently she would would rather me come out than not so she knows for sure (and I guess she worries that I might get bullied for my hair, though I don't expect that).  I don't feel ready to come out as genderfluid right now, mostly since I don't think I will be able to explain it well enough to my parents so they understand and accept me.
Does anyone have any advice?  Are there any good resources out there that I can direct them to that are specific to genderfluid people?  How have others come out?  Or do you think I could say that I'm just queer (which is true) and try to end the conversation there, not mentioning my own gender?  Also, right now, I am completely dependent on my parents, so I don't want to just recklessly come out, especially since I don't know their stance on transgender people...
