Feels good to be here.
December 18, 2014, 09:14:31 AM
My birth name is Alex but Ive always been fond of the name Charlotte. Since this is a special place where I can be the real me I would rather go by Charlotte.
I wont go deep into my life since this is just an introduction but here it goes. Im 27 years old, I live in Tennessee and Ive been hiding who I really am my entire life. Ive always viewed myself as a girl ever since my first memory. I used to think it was wrong so I hid my feelings. I have come out in the past but a lot of bad things happened so I got scared and concealed my feelings again.
Im currently married and have no children as well. I've been reading these forums over the last couple of days and wondered why Im waiting until now to join something like this. Anyways Im looking forward to getting and giving advice here as well as getting to know like minded people. Im going to take this time to thank all of you in advance.

I'm in Ohio, and growing up I thought I was radical (ran out of sunday school as a toddler, was a very unruly teenager who broke all the rules) ..but it turns out I had internalized homophobia and transphobia
It's interesting how we can adopt an idea that is counter to our own identity. Shedding those beliefs was an intense process of healing for me, and I wish you the best as you heal.
Welcome to Susans Charlotte!
