Hi, I'm not a 100% sure how to use this forum but I was recommended to this site by a friend. I am a 14 year old born male and I'm just starting school this month.i came out 9 months ago to a decently supporting family. I don't know much about how this process goes so I will play it by ear.i have been going to a therapist for 4 months. I live in Texas( yay equality) and am just beginning high school. I'm not sure how people will react if they find out.any tips?

Hi dops, welcome to Susan's. You are certainly not alone here, we have a youth area even.  If you talk to your therapist, they can often help with the school if you come out there. I don't have much advice on dealing with teens in the present since high school was a very long time ago. If you read some of the other areas, you will probably pick up some things others have done. i mainly just wanted to say welcome.
