Leg hair issues?

Hello! I'm facing a bit of an issue here. Around eight months ago, a few weeks after I came out to my parents, I shaved my legs for the first time. This ended horribly but with smooth legs, so at the time I was happy. Now I am having issues in that these red spots and bumps that cover my legs are still not going away no matter what I do. I have since learned to shave my legs properly, but I have no clue what the issue is with my legs, or how I go about fixing them. I uploaded the images at the URL below, though after trying to use Nair on the legs it got all red and awful.

Can anybody help?

Sounds like shaving bumps...I have been told that this product works well on shaving bumps and I am using it on scar tissue, it seems very good

Welcome to Susan's Place. My guess like Sarah's is they are from shaving. If you shave to close, some of the hairs will be cut off below the skin level and may ingrown or cause skin irritation. If you shave with a razor, use very light pressure on the razor and that will reduce how deep it cuts. Another option would be to use an electric razor which naturally tends to cut a tiny bit longer.
