That is horrific. I hope you reported both the incident and your suspicions about your neighbors to the police.

I think the fear of becoming death targets lurks in the minds of most transwomen. Not to mention anyone who dresses or behaves outside expected gender binary and hetero "norms." Even my supposedly "Godly" missionary friends brag on what they'd do if they saw a man dressed as a woman in a public bathroom. Sickening.

However, many/most people who transition do so only because not transitioning would likely result in suicide anyway.

sorry fortaking so long to reply but tis worthless junkpile of a computer only occasionly is in working conditionthere is a university library a few blocks away wher i coiuld use a real computer but this nursing home treats me like a devils island convict andi cannot leave here even for a minutewithot an 'escort' though i am currentys in good shape and could easily make it tn a wheelchair. i have no friends in this cityand n0ono of my relatives want to be bothered so i am stuckwith this pili of ->-bleeped-<- the new orleans police is badley undermanned and i was unable to talk to anyone untill i came out of the comawhile i amsure in my own mindthat  it was deliberate and who probably did it that is not legal proofmy sister who got controll of myassets while i was in the comaand still has  controll of everything doesn' care if anyone is ever punished for this i never felt so alone friendless and helpless in my life so that is why i have gone to such trouble to get my story out Beware all of you
