An estimated 2,000 mourners, including Sen. John Kerry and Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, filled a Quincy church Saturday to pay respects to Army Spc. Ciara Durkin, an Army National Guard corporal found shot to death last month at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.
