Username change?

Hi, I think this is the wrong place for this, but I didn't find a technical support room, so I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction.

When I created my username, I was still questioning whether I was truly female or some kind of non-binary. I have since felt peace about recognizing that I am definitely female and want my username to reflect that. Is it possible to change user name?

No problem, send me a PM with at least three choices/versions of the name you would like and we'll see what names are available

@ WhatAmI:  YES, you can get your user name and log-in name changed...   You can change your "display name" yourself by going to your profile account settings but your log-in name will require a request to the Administrators.   Once you decide what you want to do and have decided on these things you can reply back to me on this thread or message me and I can help you.

Might I suggest to that BEFORE you change your display name that you put up an Avatar or Profile picture so that when people see your postings with your new name that they will know who you are... I think it is important to maintain continuity with those that you have already shared with on the Forums.... so I think that changing names should not be a frequent thing... think hard and long on a name and stick with it if you can.   

When I changed my name some time ago, whenever I posted a reply I usually signed my new name with a following note that I was previously ----- .

Obviously this is just a suggestion and your can do as you wish.

@ WhatAmI:   So sorry for my barrage of messages but I am writing to correct an error in what I told you about changing your name.  I had forgotten about a policy change regarding name changes

Refer to the reply by V M .... you can send either one of us a message outlining what she stated in her reply as follows: 

"No problem, send me a PM with at least three choices/versions of the name you would like and we'll see what names are available"
