Weekend getaway

I can't imagine how many times a post like this been posted, but oh well here is another.

I am married.  There. Said that and it is true and I love my wife.  She knows I like to dress and although she does not like it we have a somewhat tenuous agreement that when I travel by myself I dress and go out.  That is all well and good but as time has gone on I want more.  What I want is to go away for a weekend, get up in the morning get dressed and made up and spend the whole weekend shopping going out walking around and just experiencing life as a woman.

I live in the North East US and I am looking for suggestions for friendly towns where I could just enjoy being me.  I can fly but i would prefer to not go too far.  Is this an usual ask? What do the rest of us Do?

Hello Kat F,   I see that this is your very first posting and you have just become a member of Susan's Place please allow me to give you my Official Welcome.

I am glad that you have taken the step to become a member of Susan's Place and that you have shared your  thoughts with other members here on your first posting and thread.

I am thinking that you may have other questions and concerns, this is the right place for you to be to find out what others have done that may have been in your circumstances.

Ohh, Ogunquit!  I LOVE Ogunquit!!!!

  Of course I've only been there 1 time (for 3 days), but it was at the end of the "Canadian Tourist" season and the weather was perfect and the crowds had thinned out and the dining out was just wonderful!

  Still, I was with my (non-accepting) wife so I wasn't dressed, even "stealth", so I don't know what kind of reception you might receive.  But even if you had to put on boys clothes, It Is Worth It!
