Alright so I just have a quick question. I have anxiety and it gets in the way at work a lot of the time, so I want to talk to a therapist and maybe get onto some anti anxiety meds. My only fear is that if I am diagnosed with anxiety or depression that a surgeon may be skeptical about performing Gender confirmation surgery.
(I don't think I am depressed, I am honestly pretty happy with the way my life is going, but I do worry about being diagnosed as such.)
Does anyone know if being diagnosed with anxiety or depression makes it more difficult to have surgery?
