I am almost 10 months post-op, however for the last 3 months I have had this tiny area of whitish skin along part of my vaginal opening. Seems like it would have healed up by now. I thought it was granulation tissue, but my surgeon looked at it 2 months ago and said it was stretched skin. That little area burns like sunburn when I insert my Dilator, but feels alright after I get the Dilator in. Sex is off until it heals, if it ever does. Of course, I will let my surgeon know that I still have this problem, but I thought I would ask here first to see if any of you other ladies have experienced this and possible suggestions. Pictures are on my website since I can't post them here.

If its along the opening you might be able to get it fixed with minimally invasive procedures. Since it is just skin, people deal with skin issues like this all of the time and not in association to the vagina.  Almost sounds like a skin tag, just larger.

Since it doesnt appear to be a wound on your description of it, it probably will not 'heal' on its own as there is nothing to heal.  Its like getting a liposuction and having sagging skin, the extra skin doesnt go away and usually requires surgical removal.

I wonder why this skin problem wasn't fixed last February during my follow up appointment. I didn't worry about it too much then, but now, 2 months later I am very concerned.
