Davina's diary vol 3, life goes on... continued

Having a do nothing day, well almost as going to change my bedding ,flip mattress and wash it all . Will need to clean up after the electrician has fitted the heater as I know he has to drill new mounting holes.
  Eggs for lunch as they need using if they are still okay, I would bake a cake but thats extra food I dont need to eat!!!

Made a Fajita, so much for not eating to much as there was 2 small potatoes, 3 rashers of bacon, 5 cherry tomatoes, broccoli and cheese as well as 3 eggs to cover it but it was SOOOOO good.
  Dull damp Thursday again but its gone from a frost yesterday to high of 14C to day as wind is now coming from the south. Spent to much money on some coilover shockers for the Herferod so hope my extra pension payment come soon. Its 13 payments per year so usually get 2 in Dec, that helps pay for Christmas a bit.

Went to see my daughter today and took mum, the 2 eldest were at school but the youngest was there. They have a dog now, a PIA miniature poodle/ cocker spaniel cross that needs to clam down! It was nice to catch up then mum said lets go to the pub and have lunch as we dont go out often so we both had a small fish and chips with mushy peas. Back home for 2pm so washing on and work trousers to patch, sparks from the grinder have caused the leg to rot and tear. I found a pair of my lads old work trousers at the workshop so have cut a leg off for a patch, now I have to try sewing it on neatly. Now if I could weld it on it would be neat!!
 Have a bad vibration started on the daily, feels like a drive shaft joint so hope I can put it on Ds outside lift tomorrow.

Well it turned out to be a sticking brake , I managed to get it on Ds ramp and fix it. Today I was way to comfy in bed so got up late, was thinking of going to the workshop but my motor was froze up so gave up. Used up some mushrooms, bacon and eggs for lunch and made a big batch of dry veg curry to empty the fridge of perishables as away all next week. Froze some green beans and cauliflower as well. The plan is Sunday pack my suitcase and clean the flat so its all nice to come back to.

Yet again its a shopping for food Thurs ,not much to get this week as away all next week. Just some milk, something for dinner for 4 days and a few non perishable bits. Fridge needs a good clean anyway, I will have to do a big shop on the Sat after I come back from trip.
 Looks like its going to be a wet week when we are in Yorkshire according to long range forecast, just hope its not that bad.

Fish and chips or sausage and mash with gravy so thick you can cut it! Well car froze again so not in a rush to go out to the workshop. Bit of welding to do and then its a BIG tidy up, lots of tools to put away and a good sweep again just in case it floods while I am away.

I love fish and chips too, and also chicken pot pie.  Davina, if it makes you feel any better, I woke up this morning, and it's 21 degrees F (-6.111 C)...another hot soup day!

By the time I got to my car it had defrosted, 5C the dash said. Chilly today with a cold wind and then it chucked it down this afternoon. Tided the workshop up and put the tools away today so I could get to making a start on drivers door. Will do some more tomorrow and then have a bit more tidy up so its ready for when I come back from hols.

Well I have my suitcase almost packed, makeup and stuff tomorrow and that should be it. Work clothes washed and hung up ,they have a week to dry so didnt tumble them. Vac and a tidy up next, what doesn't get done will still be here next Sat so not busting a gut. Nothing worth watching on TV and then 3 things I want to watch are on overlapping tonight plus a live chat on Y tube and a Y tube channel to watch, might be late to bed! Have to be up about 6.30am as well for 8am lift from my sister to catch the coach at 8.50. That will be a long day as we should get to hotel about 4pm.
