Do any of you have any homeopathic aids to give me some curves? I'm no where near HRT but some subtle accent would be nice. I see ads for creams and pills but would rather here on what has helped

After my primary provider recommended I suspend HRT (estradiol), I tried a supplement that guaranteed breast growth. But then I learned it also causes blood clots so I discontinued (thanks, Courtney!).

Kellie, I would advise caution.

I appreciate the advice. I have had a blood clot issue in my heart in the past. No thank you for doing that again

There are no creams, potions, or supplements that will do what you are looking for.

The curve of the hip is caused by bone, muscle, and fat. The bone is not going to change. There are exercises you can do to develop your glutes and hip flexor muscles. That is the healthiest way. The unhealthy way is to gain weight and let the hormones move the fat to the hips.

I have heard of gals who do a combination of both. They cycle between periods of muscle-building/fasting and a period of stretching/feasting. The concept is that you would lose weight (fat) from all over the body while building the underlying muscle. Then use stretches to maintain muscle tone while allowing the fat to deposit on top.

I do not know if the method works or not. That is the concept. I gave up on curvy hips long ago. To help me, I spent time noticing women's hips. The ones who had curves were heavier women overall. The ones that had a decent figure had narrower hips, and some even had flat butts. That convinced me to be more realistic about my goals instead of chasing an image that I will never achieve.

I do have a set of hip pads that make one of my pairs of jeans look exceptionally good. But they are too hot to be comfortable for more than a couple of hours.

Dear Lori:
I agree wholeheartedly with your advice.
There is no easy way, no supplements, no pills that will make you
look like the girl of your dreams.  Hormones HRT can help but every body
reacts uniquely to what it will do and how quickly it works.

All you have to do is to do some people watching at stores or in a shopping mall,
women come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes and many times the most
attractive women do not necessarily have all of those excessive curves.

I attempt to compensate for any shortcomings with a friendly smile and a happy greeting.

On the same line, are breast plates or bras with pockets better?

I think that might be a personal preference. But to help you decide what is best for you, TanyaG wrote several articles about breast plates and breast forms.

Hope this helps.

Breast plates will give you a visible line at their edges, usually around the neck and armholes, which you would have to hide some way. Also, unless you are wearing a turtleneck, some of the silicone of the breast plate will be visible and if it doesn't match 100 percent your skin and hasn't the same texture as your skin you will see a difference which you might want to hide through makeup on the breast plate which leads to a bigger cleanup effort afterwards.

For those reasons I stick to individual breast forms and mostly full coverage bras which cover the entire form. I do prefer forms that have a sticky back which sticks to my skin and do not use pocketed bras.

Hope that helps.

Heidemarie

Homeopathy is nonsense, don't waste your money or time on any homeopathic stuff. The straightforward truth of the matter is that it takes a substantial dominance of estradiol over testosterone to produce the physiological changes that would render any changes to your outward appearance other than a haircut or changing clothing. And HRT is the only proven method for that hormone relationship to happen.

I researched over and over for years. The girls on here that advise homeopathy doesn't work I'll take their advice and experience over online selling claims.
It makes total sense homeopathy doesn't work or so many wouldn't have went the doctor route to get true medical approved medication.
Thank you

Like others have said, supplements and homeopathic aids are a waste of money.  Think about it.  If they really worked, small busted cis-gals would be popping them like candy and the boob job business would be out of business.

However, you can still have real girly curves even with your concern about blood clots.

I have a blood disorder called Factor V Leiden.  It makes me prone to blood clots.  And yes, I've had a few.  As you may know, estradiol (feminizing HRT) can increase your risk of blood clots.  When I decided to transition, I did a ton of research.  I learned that the risk of blood clots is much lower IF oral estradiol (pills) is avoided.  Transdermal (patches and gels) and injections are the way to go.  I went with the injection route.

Because of my Factor V and history of blood clots, my endocrinologist was still concerned about blood clots.  She was happy to learn that I was already taking an anticoagulant (blood thinner) that significantly lowers my risk of clots.  I've had zero problems with blood clots since I went on hormones in September 2021.

Hope this helps.
