Anyone else like cartoons!?

  Since dealing with so many health issues, I've come to enjoy watching things that are pleasent or focus on pleasent things. Even as I have gotten alot better I still perfer that. I'll even tell my hubby some shows are to scary,lol!
  The kinda shows I've enjoyed the most are childrens cartoons. The lower stakes or lack of any, along with the focus on just being happy and everyone being freinds is so much more enjoyable to me than anything thrilling or intense. I do still watch other stuff some too, like anime and other choice shows and movies that I usually watch with my husband.

  My all time favorite cartoon has been Octonauts!! I've loved just how cute it is! Also have really enjoyed Wonderoos, Go Dogs Go, Creature Cases, and Koati. I totally love all the Hello Kitty cartoons so so much to!! Hello Kitty Furry Tail Theater is my fav out of them but I like Super Style alot too! The stop motion My Melody show was amazing also.
  I have been kinda obessed with the Octonauts! Just find the characters and disgns so super cute! Kwazii, Captain Barnicles, and Pofesser Inkling! Sometimes I do feel a little silly watching the shows but I love em anyway.

  Does anyone else like these sort of shows or have any you find comforting?

Oddly despite loving hello kitty I haven't seen her cartoons though I should now seeing as you recommended them!

My bf and I both love Care Bears so have pretty much watched all the episodes we can get. You're right in that they are very feel good and make for a quite calming atmosphere. Both of us can be a bit infantile at times too so it kind of works.

Also mostly watch animation type films and occasionally some anime. We are both furries so Beastars is the big one. Recently watched Zootropolis 2 as well.

So great that you enjoy that kind of stuff too. Our bed is literally covered in care bears, sanrio and rabbit plushies!!

  Totally gotta check them out! Hello Kitty Furry Tail Theater is a must see. The My Melody show is really good too, highly recommend it.
 
  I've never really watched Care Bears but def planning on giving it a try. Beasters I tried to watch at some point but did'nt get into it much, I do like the anime With You, Our Love Will Make It Through thats furry for sure.

  That sounds so nice fr!! It the dream to have bed full of plushies for sure! Building up my collection of plushies myself! Have some Hello Kitty stuff, a few MeMeows with a few others. Me and my husband give them silly names together!

I still enjoy cartoons.  A favorite is the 1988-89 "Cops" cartoon.  It was set in 2020, but in 1988 the producers thought everyone would be wearing balloon pants or the big shoulder pads, or the mullet.  They did get screens in cars right though! 

Some others I like are the Animated Star Trek, The New Adventures of Batman (1970's cartoon with Adam West and Burt Ward providing the voices of Batman and Robin.  Batgirl is also in it and it's like a 4th season to the 1960's live-action Batman), The Hardy Boys, Darkwing Duck, Sailor Moon.

My first cartoon fandom was the Smurfs in the early 80s. During that time, I also got into Shirt Tales and Fraggle Rock. Sure, those are puppets. But it still works. The Get Along Gang was my jam until it went off the air in my area in 1989.

Talespin was one that I really liked. That was in '91. Oh, yeah, there was The Simpsons, too. But that was 1989. Then, there was Liquid Television. The best program that MTV ever had. Hands down. So many wild shorts and some killer soundtracks.

After that, I wouldn't really pay attention to animation until 2013, when I rediscovered the Get Along Gang, Fraggle Rock, and Talespin. A little after that, I checked out Animaniacs and Tiny Toons. In maybe 2015 or 2016, a forum member here turned me on to Tenchi Universe when I was talking about Portia Porcupine and the woman who voiced her. Sherry Lynn.

I THINK that covers everything.
