Ah! the quest for a comfortable bra! It is astonishing how the vast majority of bras are like torture devices!
I cannot wear cheaper high street bras anymore. They just dont support well or the padded cups don't sit right, are the wrong shape, they dig into my sides or the ends of the wires dig into my boobs.
I am a total convert for going to brands that specialise in bras for larger ladies. Brands Like Panache, Bravissimo or Curvy Kate. I just got a delivery of a Curvy Kate Smoothie Spacer Moulded T-Shirt Plunge Bra (bit of a mouthfull that!) but my god it it feels amazing on, no digging in, the material feels so smooth and beautiful to the touch. It is supportive but not like a sports bra, more like a pair of hands gently cupping them ha ha! It also has a hook on the back so you can cinch the straps together to form a racerback style which is great if you don't want your straps popping out all the time. In racerback mode it also pushes up the boobs to give more lift and cleavage. A very well engineered bra. Colour me impressed! Got it on sale for £25.00 but normal price is £42.00 I would happily pay that.
They aren't the glamour lingerie you wear for an evening of passion but damn they are comfortable and give great shape!
