Control of the Democratic Party in San Francisco is up for grabs this year as voters will elect members to serve on its two county central committees in the June 3 primary.

Twelve seats are each allotted to the city's two state Assembly Districts, and in the 13th Assembly District, 18 out candidates are in the mix, accounting for a slight majority of the 32 people on the ballot.

Thus the race has become something of an LGBT free-for-all.
