Head Cold and Brain Power

I hate head colds. I feel like the meager brain power I have just flutters off into oblivion when I have one. That's not good for a tech support analyst.

You would not believe how much its helped me.  People ask me how I can be such an agreeable person to work with and I tell them "Easy, I care a lot less than anyone else here.  Matter of fact, I care less than everyone else combined.  So, whatever your idea is, its fine with me."  I often try to start out the day with a great idea and put it out there to be shot down, after which, I can just kick back.  Really, they had my one idea for the day, now it's their turn.

Heh, I get asked for my input at work, I'm told I have great ideas, and then I'm told why they suck.

Apparently, I should not be advocating for the customer. I should be advocating for the Company ("Praise the company!") taking the customer's money.

Yeah, I love the conversations where I spend five minutes trying to tell them its too heavy only to have one of the brain trust look up and say (as if from god's lips to my ears) that perhaps there is a weight issue that needs to be addressed.   Yeesh.  I'm thinking, "Addressed??? and where in the F*** do you F****** want me to F******* send it?"

Don't you know: the laws of physics are made to be broken! Of course it's possible to transport 10 gallons of excrement in a 5 gallon bucket.
