TIRUNELVELI: A stall run by a group of transgenders, called Thirunangai Puthu Vazhvu Maiyam, is the main attraction at an exhibition being conducted by Mahalir Thittam of Tirunelveli district at Jothipuram ground, Palayamkottai, since August to showcase the products manufactured by self help groups (SHGs). The group is famous for its Tirunelveli halwa. The group of 15 transgenders in Palayamkottai has been engaged in the manufacture and marketing of its halwa.
