Arrrggghhhhh!!!!!

G*&D#$!!

I'm sick again.  My lungs are trying to drown me. Again.  This is my 3rd round of mega-dose prednisone, and a new antibiotic in about 7 weeks.   My lungs are happily bubbling and sizzling away.
THAT'S why I'm awake at this time of night.  The prednisone has me AWAKE!
It would be better if I were making money, but I'm not, because I can't work.  I'm also off my hrt meds, and with this load of steroids, I'm.....
UNHAPPY.

Not looking for sympathy here, just.......awake.  And peevish

*hugs and chicken noodle soup* (along with chocolate and mac and cheese, my cures for everything meds can't fix)

Yup, it, ummm......6:37 eastern standard time, and still up.  Slept for about 35 minutes. 
WHEEEEE!

haha....it'll be okay.

Happens a few times a year.  This ones just a longer un-joy ride than usual.

That being said, it can be effective sometimes.

My friend next door also is have lung problems and is taking Prednisone.  And I have taken it before because of my COPD.  Prop your self up at a 45o angle and see if you can sleep some, Bev.

It is now about Noon your time and I hope you are fast asleep.

I hate prednisone..but it works well.  On the occasions I had to take it I counted the days until I could stop.  Made me eat like a horse on top of everything else :(

Thanks, Janet....I took your advice....stole all Marcy's pillows (well some) and propped up.  Had a blessed nap.  Good advice.....Thanks luv

I have COPD and that was a trick taught to me by my doctor.  It works because you are not have the fluids gather in the lungs.
