Today I was church and when I was leaving, I was talking to an older lady and her granddaughter, and the lady, when she spoke to her granddaughter told her that "this lady" (referring to me) worked at the place that I work at, and I was thrilled that the grandmother identified me correctly.  So that was a nice affirming moment at church.

Anyway, it got out that I'll be giving the Scripture readings during a service in March, and people were asking me when I would be doing that, which will be March 1.  And I had mentioned that I had applied to the Seminary, but I was still waiting to hear if I was accepted or not.  With the Seminary the cut off date for applications from high school students was January 15, but for others, like myself where its been years since I was in high school, the cut off date is April 1.

Anyway, tonight I got word that I had been conditionally accepted to the Seminary.  The one condition was that I need to get the Bible College that I have been attending to send an official transcript, since during the application I had just sent an unofficial transcript directly from me (which they allowed during the application but then they would need the official version after I got accepted), however, they need a copy sent directly to them from the Bible College I was attending.  So, even though I have official transcripts, those were only considered unofficial coming from me.  However, It's nice to know that I've been accepted conditionally, and I've already sent in a request to my Bible College today and hopefully I'll get that condition lifted in a few days.

At least I have 8 months to get ready, since it's most likely going to involve moving to where the Seminary is, since they don't have online for this school (which is kind of odd for 2026, my other school I was doing online).  So I have time to wind somethings here down and figure out where to live down there.
