Binder Bruises, any suggestions?
June 17, 2010, 07:52:17 AM
Hey guys,
I've been having problems with my binder, My chest and ribs really hurt and are bruised on the sides/under half of my chest, so i'm not wearing it as much. It's apparently not too small and doesn't seem to be, but i'm still having this problem, it's a different kind to my old one, should i keep wearing it anyways and see if my body learns to live with it or should i not wear it and wear a tight singlet until the bruise goes away? What are the suggestions? thanx

probably stop wearing it for a bit while the bruises and such heal. If its really bad i'd probably see a doctor.. i've heard of some of the things that can happen to guys ribs from binding too tight etc. although you say it's not too tight.. odd. o.o
hope the bruises get better!

Yeah. Just remember, I actually made my lungs inflammed from binding too tight. With a proper binder from underworks I'm fine. But I wouldn't risk hurting yourself. Give yourself a break, or get a different binder. What are you using?

I was using one from underworks, got the next size and length up after a bit because i was a little sore.. but now i'm using one i made that's not even a binder...
I don't feel like going out in public with it, but it hurts to put the one from underworks on. I was going to get one from mango but didn't think where i got one from would make a difference seeing as i already got a bigger one that didn't help with bruising and didn't bind as well either.
